Are you a Rock Star Fitness Trainer?

Posted By Casey Kaldal

casey-Rock-Star-fitnessI have been obsessed with being a Rock Star for quite a few years now. I am not musically inclined what so ever, but the sex, drugs, and rock and roll slogan gets me pumped up and ready to rock every time.

I am not nearly as reckless as I was in my early twenties and teenage years, but when the opportunity struck to get dressed up like a Rock Star last week for Halloween I jumped all over it.

Red Tights, Fur Jacket, Mardi Gras Beads, and a Guitar!

With boatloads of compliments to stoke my confidence I played the part extremely well. Its not hard for me to get riled up, and well, a little out of control.

I set pretty high standards for myself and so should you. So when I think about being a Rock Star, I think about all the things I could do and have with an excessive amount of cash in my hands. Cars, boats, houses, vacations, toys…

Honestly, I am not super materialistic, and I would spend my money completely different than the average Rock Star, but its nice to have big dreams, big goals, and a fat bank account to do the things you want.

Fortunately for me having a passive income, traveling all around the world, and having time freedom helps me play the part of a Rock Star, but what about you?

How can you become a Rock Star in the Personal Training Industry? Do you ever think about being the best of the best? The top one-percent.

The average wage for a Personal Trainer is around thirty-four grand. Hardly a Rock Stars salary. You really need to step up your game if you want the big bucks. A trick that I use, is to always think about how you can work less, and make more.

Reduce your work by

  • Only working on the most profit producing tasks
  • Outsourcing as much as possible
  • Delegating work to employees often
  • Taking more vacations (This is my favorite one)

Increase your income by

  • Charging more per hour
  • Training multiple clients at once
  • Hiring trainers so you can charge more/train more clients
  • Adding additional stream of income (eBooks, Supplements, referral programs…)

I often talk about increasing your value. The more you learn the more you earn.

You need to find out exactly what your clients want, and then become the expert in their eyes and deliver results for them.

Where do you outsource? What do you outsource. I have been hearing this over and over but never really found a way where to begin.

    @Ryan
Ryan, I typically outsource some of my marketing such as building back links to my sites, maybe some Squidoo lenses and definitely proof reading and research for my eBooks.

I also outsource technical things on my website that I don’t want to do myself.

Check out eLance.com and guru.com. Both sites are great for outsourcing.
