Last night I was watching Opera (My wife was watching but what came on I had to listen too) and doctor OZ was on there and I heard some amazing tips.  The first one was about fiber, he said “the recommended daily intake of fiber for males should me 35 grams of fiber and for woman 25 grams of fiber”.

He went on to say that not only will it keep you regular but it will speed up you bowls and give your body less time to soak up all the fat out of your food.  He also stated that as you eat we all know you stomach uses bile well as that bile goes through every ones intestines it gets absorbed be the body and that is one of the causes of high cholesterol!! So by eating more fiber it speeds up the bowls and gives the intestine less of a chance of absorbing all the bile therefore lowering our cholesterol!  That’s why the older you get the more doctors tell you to increase the amount of fiber in your diet!  But first there is something that you will need to know before you take this sudden increase of fiber in your diet. It will leave you bloated and really gassy so start slow and steadily increase your fiber to the daily recommended amount. Over the next two weeks I am going to put this diet to the test. Ok, so far it has been two weeks since I started the fiber diet.  I only had one bad day that I kinda cheated but I lost 5 pounds in two week.  It is not exactly a rapid weight loss solution but I am going to for sure include it in my regular diet I am sure it will help with my weight loss diet.

The next tip he went on to talk about was to increase the amount of calcium intake.  Doctor Oz said that the normal daily recommenced intake is 1200 milligrams.  He said that the calcium bonds with the fats in your body and will help remove them.  After a couple days you will see your feces floating and that is because the fatty oils float and that is proof that is working!  I have already done this one and it is true every word of it.  It will remove up to six pounds in a year it does not sound like much but coupled with a healthy diet it will make a difference.  This is not really a way to lose weight fats but it will keep your body clean and keep you from gaining more unwanted weight.  Now like the fiber diet there is one thing you need to know before you go on.  As you take 1200 milligrams of calcium it will start to constipate you so with the calcium you need to take 800 milligrams of magnesium and this will help keep you regular.
