Homer Gets A Personal Trainer – Homer-esque Clients
![]()
Homer Simpson doesn’t exactly have six-pack abs. His are more of just a mere ab, mostly composed of a flabby mass created by a few too many six-packs and doughnuts. Homer Simpson, is just an average, everyday man, but he wants to be something, someone different. In his typical fashion, Homer stumbles into an audition and is chosen as the lead for “Everywhereman,” a new movie based on a completely unknown comic book hero. Homer wants to live up to his character and be a superhero. Homer wants to be a true “Everyman” instead of “Everywhereman”.
For this role, Homer is given a super suave, not to mention extremely obnoxious, personal trainer whose job it is to swoop in and save the day. The episode shows Homer’s futile attempts to shape up but he is suddenly and magically transformed into a superhero with six-pack abs and bulging muscles. Even Marge is quite taken by the new Homer, less man to love but more man that she wants to love.
Homer’s fame is short-lived however, as the is soon a total and complete failure. This is in no short measure due to Homer’s lack of self-control in the absence of his personal trainer. It all starts with one cheese cube, one little cheese cube that happens to be attached to another little cheese cube. Before long, every cheese cube on the movie set snack table is devoured by Homer as onlookers watch in horror. Homer continues to indulge with a mix of shame and pleasure. Homer’s problem: he was utterly dependent on his trainer and lost all motivation and hope as his personal trainer was lured away to clients who give him the chance to bask in true fame. Homer even cried when his trainer left him. He knew he was all alone and unable to be “Everywhereman” on his own.
From then on, even the best film editors couldn’t splice the pictures of super hot muscled Homer with those of his belly bulging out. Movie viewers complained; the film was a total flop and life returned to normal for larger than life Homer.
Have you ever trained these Homer-esque clients? Have you been the trainer that they just couldn’t live without? You’ll get a kick out of this unforgettable episode and probably be all too familiar with scenes that unfold before you. Check out the hilarious episode now.

LOL Seen that episode and I got a few Homer-esque clients as well. It’s a bit funny but as time goes by, it gets irritating. Then again, as a personal trainer, you have to keep composure and be motivated for these people. You lose them, and the word might even spread about you being a “not so good trainer.” Works both ways, I think.
